Morning car drop-off
Morning student drop-off is located on the south side of the building by the large playground.
To keep the line moving safely and smoothly, please follow these guidelines:
- Drive carefully: Drive counterclockwise around the building to reach the drop-off area. Please maintain a safe, slow speed.
- Be ready to exit: This is the only drop-off area for all K-5 students. Make sure your children are ready to get out of the car quickly so you don't hold up the line.
- Entering the building: All students should enter through the south doors near the classrooms.
- Arrival time: Students should not arrive before 7:30 a.m. unless you have made arrangements with the office or a teacher ahead of time.
- Keep lanes clear: Never block the fire lane. After dropping your child off, continue driving around the far east side of the building to exit onto Old Rockford Road.
- Parking and walking: If you want to get out of your car or walk your child inside, please park in the main lot and use the crosswalk.
Important Security Note: The south doors by the playground lock promptly at 7:45 a.m. Do not drop your child off at these doors after 7:45 a.m., as they will be locked out. Instead, you must drive to the front of the building, park in the middle lot, bring your child inside to the main office, and sign them in.
Afternoon parent pick-up
Parents and guardians picking up their children should park in the main lot and wait for their child outside the building.
Walking and biking
Due to safety concerns, biking and walking to and from school is not permitted unless accompanied by a parent. Exceptions need principal approval. Safety is our number one priority. We do not have bicycle paths or storage racks.
